Martyr (Mark Johnson, Dave Mowry, Ladislao Prado) was formed in 1985 in Porterville, CA. They recorded 2 demos; one in 1986 and another in 1987 which they self-released. The original band broke up in 1988 but Ladislao Prado continued with other musicians yielding 2 more iterations of the band that played through 1993.
